Synopsis: “Bosnia 1995” is a short drama film set during the Yugoslav conflicts of the early 1990’s. Two friends, disgusted by what has happened to their beloved homeland, set out to realise their dream and begin a new life in Australia. However, they are quickly faced with some serious new challenges as they discover the darker side of society.

Beau Nieuwveld
Age: 15
Director, editor, composer

Beau is an enthusiastic member of the team. Beau has directed several personal projects including ‘Dartmoor’ and also several projects with Medium Effort Pictures, such as ‘Baked’. Beau started his passionate work for film making at the young age of eight. Beau joins the Optimus Productions team to share his knowledge on the new upcoming project titled ‘Bosnia 1995’.

John Telley
Age: 17
Location scout, sound recordist, storyboard artist

John is usually the one who keeps the team entertained. His character always manages to get everyone going. When it comes down to business though, John is reliable and able to deliver what is needed of him.

Anna Wallace
Age: 17
Screenplay, co-director, storyboard artist

Anna is largely involved in photography; her technical skills and experience in photography has managed to help the team in areas where they would have struggled. Anna is often the mediator between creativity conflicts within the team. Anna is excited by the new Optimus Productions release titled ‘Bosnia’.

Sasha Chifura
Age: 16
Storyboard artist, assistant director, production manager

Sasha is the newest member of the team, having joined the Optimus Productions team during filming. He has adapted well. Sasha’s creativity has helped the team in spots where they could have otherwise struggled.
